That’s picture perfect…!
Until we make an opinion out of it.
You see, sometimes it’s easy for us to judge a person based on the visual appearance of the subject. And most often than not, we succumb to the temptation of making a statement [usually negative] about what we just saw at a glance and start spreading rumors around against the person, as if we’ve stumbled upon a scoop. And the most painful part is that the victim is oftentimes someone we have known or acquainted with.
Because of our action, we tear a relationship apart and ruin a reputation of another.
For Christians, we surely are familiar with this verse from Matthew 7: 1-2.
Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Why, then, should we not just stick to this teaching? Spreading gossip does not add glamour to our being. Instead, it marks our character.

of global warming,
a destroyer of
